The Granton is Brighton's luxury mature living residence with well thought through floor plans, social spaces and beautiful finishes that delivers a space that is simply enjoyable.
The brief was to design and create a luxury 15 seat cinema that the residents can access as an extension of their personal apartment.

The size of the room we had to play with was approximately 6 metres by 8 metres. A 180 inch floor to ceiling projection screen along with an Epson 4K projector delivers an exception experience. Behind the screen the power delivering Krix MX30 speakers reside. The on-wall surrounds and in-ceiling Atmos speakers complete the 7.2.4 Atmos experience. A Sony UHD 4K BluRay player and 4K Apple TV provide the entertainment source so residents can access Netflix, Stan, Prime Video, Kayo, Foxtel Go and other streaming video services.

Tying it all together is a Control4 system with an on-wall touch screen for audio and video control and also lighting automaton with preset 'All On', 'Movie', 'Intermission' and 'All Off' scenes.
Beautiful velvet curtains line the cinema walls and provide added acoustic absorption and the luxurious leather recliners complete the experience.
